I really like Christmas time and christmas love theme movies. The receipt is always the same with slight differences between movies, the main goal is a little bit of fun and love in the air. The problem with this movie is that the film is totally blad. One hour and a half of watching main female caracter looking for a "true love" and the autor of gifts.. She was so stupid and fullish to think just for her's nose.The whole film she present herself as egoistic, thin minded blond. One hour and a half we discover how stupidly she treat the guy who went specially for Chrismstas with her...all movie she ignore his presence and few minutes before the end EUREKA -true love ? Give me a break! The director had no idea how push the action and the few last minutes he decided to rig caracters up....but for all movie absolutly no action with caracters.The film isn't fluid, the main caracters are flat, naive and irritating. It's 100% of love seen as romantic consumering blabla Even if 90% of christmas movies are little too sweet and idyllic s - this one irritate more than relax. For half of the film I had irrepresive need to slap in the face the main female caracter.

I had read so many reviews on this being one of the best Hallmark Countdown to Christmas movies this season (and I'm sorry to say, based on past years, in my opinion, and I do love Hallmark Christmas movies, there seem to be a lot of uninteresting ones). However, I could only get through the first 20 minutes (up to the first commercial break) because the main character was driving me crazy. "Christery?" I found her to be immature and way, way too perky and sadly, I hate to say I really didn't care who was sending her the gifts. I was sorry I couldn't get further because I do love Gregory Harrison and I'm sure he was excellent in it. Not much of a "review" but I was glad to see I wasn't the only one who felt this way about the lead actress.

Cynthia is headed to her sister's, Janet, Christmas wedding without her scheduled plus one. Jason decided not to go because meeting her family during a wedding at Christmas was too much pressure. Cynthia leaves the relationship ? but not the cupcakes or her gift. Cynthia decides to ask her best friend and illustrator Liam to be her plus one. Luckily, he doesn't have plans and decides to go. While in town she meets 2 old boyfriends, Scott and Grant. Then, she starts getting gifts that are inline with the 12 days of Christmas song. And the sender is a mystery. She is determined to figure out who is her mystery Christmas Love.

Jason – most recent her ex Liam – her friend and business partner Scott – her first boyfriend Grant – her senior year boyfriend With so many possibilities around her, it is hard for Cynthia to see what is in front of her.

The best Hallmark holiday movie by far. When Cynthia leaves a room angry, hold on to your stuff. This movie will make you laugh out loud. Liam and Tom (Cynthia's father) have the best one-liners. It is an absolute joy to watch. You need to watch this mystery twice to see what you missed. This movie proves that funny and quirky is better than sappy. This is how a holiday movie should be done. It is obvious, Hallmark left the best for ? close to last. And be prepared to cry when "The Christmas Love" is revealed.
